Working with Lynn

My therapeutic approach stems from a range of theoretical perspectives and evidence-based treatment approaches including CBT Therapy, Schema Therapy, EMDR, ACT and NLP.  My experience working with people of various ages and socio-economic backgrounds and cultures has enhanced my skills in adapting therapy to reflect the individual needs, perspectives, and desired outcomes of my clients.

My areas of interest include depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, chronic health issues, adjustment difficulties, work-life balance, clarifying values and goals, problem solving, and communication 

I'm strongly focused on working with my clients to self-manage their symptoms, achieve lasting change, and, most importantly, improve their quality of life. I'm committed to improving my performance through ongoing education, client feedback, monitoring outcomes, and self-evaluation, all of which are important aspects of facilitating positive change.

Online Therapy Process

Current research shows online therapy is just as effective as in person therapy. In fact, speaking from the comfort of your own home might facilitate a greater willingness to discuss your concerns. Online therapy grants you the opportunity to engage with a skilled professional from wherever you are, while avoiding the costs, travel duration, and hassles associated with in-person meetings.

  • All psychological sessions are conducted using the secure PowerDiary platform.
  • When you click the Book Now button, you'll be taken through to the Power Diary Client Portal to complete the appropriate paperwork and select your appointment time.
  •  Telehealth appointments can be online or via telephone. Sessions are completely confidential and secure, and adhere to ethical guidelines.

Fees

Fees are $200 per 50 minute session (clinical hour) for Private, Medicare and NDIS Self-managed clients.
