Maria EinamChild and Family Psychologist

    Maria holds a Master degree in Educational and Developmental psychology. She has worked in the Child & Youth Mental Health Service, where she worked with individual clients, worked on the Youth Suicide Prevention Strategy and piloted and implemented the School-Link initiative. Maria has also worked for many years as a school guidance counsellor in both primary and secondary schools. She has extensive experience working with and assessing children with learning difficulties, behaviour problems, and mental health issues. She also has provided parenting advice and programs for individuals and groups of parents and supported those working within the education section presenting with personal and workplace difficulties. Throughout her career, Maria has also had a particular interest in the disability sector and working with families who have children with disabilities.
